this weekend being a german one, i had just picked up my cup of coffee-to-go at zürich main station and was on my way down to platform 23 where the german ICE train to stuttgart is currently departing from (normally it leaves from platform 17 on the main level, but until the 12th august the regular track from zürich to schaffhausen via bülach is interrupted and under renovation) when i noticed that the train waiting on track 23 certainly was not the ICE to stuttgart — but a freight train! my fellow passengers did look as surprised as i did 
i guess it's not the new, innovative SBB hobo train service but rather a rerouting for the same reasons the ICE is going via winterthur currently (without actually stopping there). in any case, a rather unusual view
