i and later mrs d and i had the privilege and pleasure of knowing steve wright for a couple of years. steve was a very good friend to me, someone to share jokes with, someone to discuss the latest top gear with, someone to air my frustration about the latest work "improvements", someone to have a pint of beer with, ...

sadly and incomprehensibly, steve died last monday, 13 october 2008. we miss him thoroughly.
